Please be aware that your luggage will be inspected at the entrance. Make sure to check what items are allowed and which ones should be left behind, whether it's fan merchandise or food and drinks. We advise against attempting to bring prohibited items past the organisers. If you are caught with something not permitted, it will be confiscated and discarded. In serious cases, you may even face a ban from entering the venue.
Access to the circuit requires a valid ticket, which can be in either electronic or printed form. We recommend storing your ticket on your mobile device and having it ready for display. However, it’s a good idea to carry a printed backup just in case. If everything goes smoothly, you may never need to take it out of your pocket.
Tickets are best purchased online, which only takes a couple of minutes. Don’t wait too long—some tickets are already sold out! You can choose from seated tickets, general admission, or natural grandstand tickets without seat reservations.
Each ticket code is valid for one entry only. Avoid sharing your ticket with anyone you don’t trust, as it may be misused. If you leave the venue during the day, make sure to have your ticket re-tagged by security. Failure to do so means you won’t be allowed back on the same day. Tickets are not linked to specific individuals, so more than one person can use the same ticket during the event.
COTA offers a variety of parking options for spectators, each with its pros and cons. Let’s break them down in detail.
Official Parking Lots
The official parking lots at COTA are the best option for those who want to park relatively close to the circuit. The main advantage of using these lots is convenience, as they offer proximity to the event. During the FIA WEC event, the official parking is not as pricey as it is in the case of the F1 race and also it is not crowded.
Unofficial Parking Lots
Unofficial parking lots are located further from the COTA circuit, typically a 15 to 20-minute walk from the venue. However, they come with significant benefits.
The main advantage is the cost—parking in these lots can be cheaper than official parking areas. Additionally, since these lots are farther from the circuit, they are often less congested, saving you time on the road.
Many unofficial parking areas are run by private individuals, and some even have official websites for making reservations. If this option is available, we highly recommend using it.
If you plan to pay for parking on-site, bring cash as credit cards may not be accepted.

In 2024, the gates to the COTA circuit opened from Friday to Sunday at 8:00 AM, with access to the official parking lot starting at 7:30 AM.
